Last 16th December 2021 took place a meeting with the residents of Las Carolinas, the Madrid Demonstrator building for frESCO, attended by La Corriente, COMSA and CIRCE.

During this onsite project visit the members of the frESCO consortium visited the building in order to get to know better the installations and plan the energy monitoring implementation.

Afterwards, a meeting with the residents was organized for the community that could understand better the project context, the goals, which data the frESCO project will monitor and solved all their initial doubts.

Las Carolinas is a building run by the housing cooperative Entrepatios which has received several awards for their innovative and environmental-frinedly way of living. The building counts with communal areas, efficient equiments and a strong community unity.

The community showed high interest in increasing the knowledge they currently have about their energy consumption in order to become more efficient.
